Aiman Udhas biography

Aiman Udhas was a singer and song writer in Peshawar, Pakistan. Aiman Udhas had frequently performed on PTV television and AVT khyber a private pashto channel in Pakistan. In 2009 she was shot dead in her apartment in Peshawar, allegedly by her brothers. Her final song was titled, “I died but still live among the living, because I live on in the dreams of my lover.”

Her first song that she sung was (Zama Da Meene Na Toba Da Bya Ba Nakon Meena in pashto)

She won considerable acclaim for her songs but had become a musician in the face of bitter opposition from her family. Ashamed of her growing popularity her two brothers are reported to have entered her flat last week while her husband (who is believed to be the 2nd husband)was out and fired three bullets into her chest. Neither has been caught.

Her home was on Dalazak road near Ring road. The main cause of her death is still in question.
